I gave up buying coffees and crap like that for Lent. I've never been happier.

I tried to convince the cashier to let me use my free donut for a cinnamon roll but no dice. Purchased a coffee to go with my free donut and another invitation to please buy another coffee.

1 for 0 for me. I don't buy Tim's but someone got me one the other day and I rolled up a free coffee. Which I promptly gave to the first person who would accept it.

I'm not a Tim's customer any more, but a few days ago I found a half-empty cup in a parking lot that looked like it had a virgin rim, which turned out to be the case; I rolled it up, "please try again".

So, I'm 0 in 1.

Or you could say 0 in 0, from the point of view of my being a Tim's customer.

(It'd have been funny had I won something; I'd have been 1 in 0!)

Heh, I should've read your post first!

You should've taken the opportunity to maybe climb to 2 in 0! Or even more!

Good for you...it can be made at home just as easy, for much cheaper and there are many coffees out there that are way better than Tim's.

I was one of the incredibly lucky people who rolled up the rim and won $1,000 in 2012 ....

... but it was in Robin's Donuts Fall For Cash contest.

I vowed to never spend a dime again in Tim Horton's and have kept my word.

If I ever win $1000 from Tim Hortons that still doesn't make up for how much money I've given them.

Anyone find McDonald's to have better coffee than Tim Horton's? If I'm out and I want to buy a quick coffee, I'd choose that over Tim Horton's. i get more coffee for my money and it's cheaper.

I did win a $100 Tim card last year though. =o

1/1 for me, got a doughnut. I going to quit while I'm ahead since this is the best I will ever do. My parents are both 1/2 so hasn't been too bad yet.

Any other coffee is better than Tim's coffee, IMO.
