I went and looked at a model home in the spring over there. North side, immediately east of Citywide Park. The loft bungalow (the type with main floor master and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs) was $700,000, built by Rembrandt. I just laughed and left.

Looks like this development may finally be starting. Drewlo posted that digging has started for a "mid-rise development in Summerside".

Here is a pic. Photo appears to be taken just off of Bradley between Chelton and Meadowgate. https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid...05779204880669

Nine mid-rise apartment buildings are proposed to front Bradley between Highbury and Meadowgate, and they are a mix of 4s, 5s, and 6s buildings.

Here is the planning report, which feature site plans and renderings: https://pub-london.escribemeetings.c...cumentId=67801

IronStone aka Drewlo has now started on the first of the low rise buildings in this block. They are using the same building methods for these low rise buildings as they used up on Edgevalley Rd. Steel prefab wall and floor unit panels with poured elevator/stairwell shaft. First floor is now complete on the building on the east side of block.

Renders are in the link below

They now have most of the 2nd floor walls installed in the first low rise apartment building. Making progress on building two with the L1 level walls now poured.

Installing the 3rd floor walls now on the most easterly building. The next building is now working on the 2nd floor. The L1 level walls and footings on the next building are now nearly poured and they are excavating for the foundation of the building beside that. Drewlo/Ironstone seem to be alternating their resources between this project site and their Edgevalley Rd site which is no doubt dragging out the completion time for each individual building.

The most easterly building is now getting the 5th floor walls and the next building is getting the 4th floor slab forming. Drewlo/Ironstone has moved very slowly with these low rise rental buildings both here and on Edgevalley Rd.

They appear to have the first building roof slab installed now and were installing the 2nd building 4th floor steel wall units. No signs of any progress on the other buildings as of yet. Further to the west the large ground floor walls have now been poured for the building going up next to these Ironstone buildings.

Excellent drone shots showing great perspective of not only their project site but also the work happening on the west side of Summerside and the new Jackson Rd sub division.

Hopefully they post similar photos of the Edgevalley Rd project site.

Progress slowly being made in the first block of low rise buildings with the 2 buildings on the east side now topped out. The 2 buildings on the west side are now up to the 2 floor levels. The next block to the east; they have excavated out the L1 levels for two more low rise buildings and have most of the L1 walls now poured.

They have now topped out the 4s 3rd building from the east and are working on some of the 4th floor forming of the fourth building which is planned for 5 stories. The next block over they have now completed the L1 foundation walls for the next group of buildings. Should see ground floor slabs completed and the first ground floor walls and modular steel panels going up.

I noticed yesterday how well you can see this development from the Highbury and 401 interchange and coming up Highbury from the 401

Pouring the 5th floor slab today for the 4th building in the first block of buildings. The first 5s building is getting the exterior brick installed. The eastern building in the second block is getting the ground floor slab forming installed and should see a concrete pour within the next 2 weeks.
