As with most York proposals they never seem able to pull the trigger on these residential projects. Seem to be more focused on commercial development.

They also have a proposal for the NE corner of Richmond and Sunningdale.

Too bad NIMBY sentiment has reduced the size of this project. Hopefully the changed economics of it don't delay it.

Why not mixed-use at this intersection? I'm serious. Two major arterial roads with good transit (uh, well maybe I'm not so sure if that's the case for Springbank) and lots of traffic.

2 of 4 houses left for demolition. The properties seem to have some movement on them lately. Hopefully York can get this one built.

Architects retained for this 13 floor building and suggestion is construction to start Spring 2017 based on this.

A shame they downsized it as the location was perfect for the original plan of 17s. Hell even a 20s+ tower would have had amazing sight lines and views.

The houses are down and the site is being cleared of brush. Looks like this project is finally moving.
