Almost all the windows are up on that one.

The exterior work is almost 100% done. The smaller crane is still up. I think it is a parking garage that is under construction, though was too far to confirm that.

That's what I was thinking as well.

Do we know when the functionaries will occupy the building?

Is this really what you could call a true infill project? (Don't know - this is why I am asking.)

I'm pretty sure the public servants will be moving in this year (summer maybe).

Is it infill? Well it's a decent height building between two lower buildings, so maybe. Too bad it's such a plain building.

I hope that the parking will not be used by the majority of the public servant working there. There will be a rapibus station opening nearby most likely this summer, just in time for the arrival of the feds. After all, it is suppose to be a LEED gold certified.

J'allais justement faire ce commentaire.

It's the main building that is LEED, not adjacent (dependent) buildings. This is often a criticism of LEED - that it does not take into account the transportation impact of buildings.

Really? I thought that the restreint number of parking lots at the Gatineau sport centre had something to do with the LEED certification. Anyway, LEED certification should take into account the transportation impact of buildings which is IMO way more important than the energy consommation of the building

Infill or not, I like that it's turned out alright, and that it's more than 6-10 floors tall.

It can, but it is not a prerequisite.
It is only one of many credits available under the 'sustainable sites' category.

Here's a handy dandy little reference sheet, for the less LEED inclined among us

I was wondering how much point was needed for the different levels of certification, but found it myself.

Another nice picture Harley613...How many did you take today? Great job you have there!

Keep on shooting.

The two buildings complement each other quite well.
