I think we should explain that here in public, so all people can see since it's in relation with construction..
Take one pic from above and pay attention on the parts around the cabin..
You will notice one horizontal steel beam below the cabin..
You will also notice that tower parts below the cabin are thicker than other parts from the ground up..That's because those are double parts..
One inside (smaller) and one outside (bigger) around them..We'll call them "insider part" and "outsider part"..
The cabin and arm are attached to that bigger "outsider part" which is attached to that smaller "insider part"..
When crane needs to be jumped, crane with his arm and hook lifts new part and attaches is to the horizontal beam below the cabin..Then hydraulics mounted on the "outsider part" lifts that "outsider part" with the cabin and arm mounted on it to the top of the "insider part"..That "outsider part" has only 3 sides..One is open..
Then that part, which was lifted to that horizontal beam, slides inside the "outsider part through that open side of "outsider part"..
Then all over again, new part is being lifted on the beam, "outsider part" slides on top of "insider part", new part goin' in..
And then again..
