You on about this crap again? You are comparing this to what has happened in Vancouver?

Flames very last chance is tonight (though it looks like they are going to fall just short even if they win every game remaining), if Dallas wins I think that will pretty much be the final nail in the coffin for this season, then it's time to lose some dead weight.

Great news about QC getting an arena, I wonder if they would consider moving Phoenix to QC while the new arena is under construction, the Colisee can't be that far out of NHL shape.
Its do or die tonight for sure.

It isn't far at the moment Indeed. Hence they will make some quick renovations to be up to date with NHL standards for only 6.8 millions ( was supposed to be over 10.8 previously ) and then if the Nordiques are back, they could play in the old arena for few seasons. Cross fingers! I think we'll get the Coyotes, It can be just good for the NHL where the goal is to make money, and Hockey is so strong in Canada !

Well, that would certainly make alignment easier. Just have Winnipeg / Quebec swap divisions

True. I would rather see a less drastic realignment than what was shown before.

this winnipeg vs ottawa game is intense right now. back and forth the whole time and the way the fans are so into it you would think it's the playoffs

Well, our playoff chances pretty much vapourized after that game. It was quite ballistic and intense though, and we had so many chances, but alas, Anderson was just sharp the whole time. Kudos to him and Ottawa tonight.

Also, these fans caught my eye while I was watching. Funny how they brought in a particular Internet meme into play. Would have been 100x more appropriate, had the Jets won...

Another boring ass game involving the Canucks. 1 - 0 Vancouver after 2... Go Canucks! Or whatever.

Seriously, win that one in regulation for us.

Nice (and astounding!) to see the Flames not blow a lead for once.

Ribeiro owed us that assist after what he's done to the Flames over the years.

Oh, don't worry. The Flames will be handing the Western Conference to the Canucks on a big old silver platter come the back to back games against them to end the season.

Don't forget about those easy wins that happened at the end of last season against the Oilers.

The oilers also play their last game of the season against the twin sisters and louuuuuser.

Was bringing the Leafs into this called for at all? I don't think the team who is about to have 4 straight lottery picks has any right to chirp.

Yeah, that is feepa who is by far the most annoying poster on this thread and loves derailing it into petty bickering. Everyone here should stop buying into this shit that keeps spewing from his keyboard, just ignore him from now on.

Wrong.

They haven't been out of a playoff spot by more than 4 points since then, and they're still only two points out of a spot. Hardly what anyone would call done. If they lose this next game against LA, then they're likely done IMO, but really they still aren't that far out of it.

Tomorrow night is a huge night for Flames fans. aside from the game against LA. Colorado, SJ and Dallas also playing.

And they'll probably all go to OT.
