Good eye! I didn't recognize the location from the photo, but I submit that no better bagel exists on the planet. That shot of McMansions with McSUVs in the drive must be right around the corner from Gryfe's.

Thanks for the comments. Sadly, I didn't get a bagel from Gryfe's. Only Tim Horton's for me.

Out of all the photos, this one stood out to me.

It's unapologetic, gritty.

Awesome set - you certainly got made it to quite a few parts of the city too! Or at least stayed in North York part of your time here.

Yeah, I like it too. That was Bathurst Street up in North York, far from downtown and all the hip neighbourhoods in central Toronto that usually get featured in photo threads.

Wow!! I never would have guessed that pic was from a former suburb. I was thinking it looked like an area just outside of downtown.

First time I was in Toronto, I stuck to Yonge street and was not impressed it all. It wasn't until I started venturing out of downtown based on some advice that I really started feeling the vibe. I think I was around Bloor and Bathurst. Also parts of Queen street was really nice too. The strength in Toronto is really in those neighborhoods.
