Except in that last image, the cladding on Dexia looks like the same as the glass used for Rondo 1 in Warsaw. Nice updates, thanks!

It looks like the local version of CBX. But less angular.

It's actually a shame that the cladding hides the beautiful structure behind.
I wish it had been semi-transparent.

I bet hope that the concrete columns will be visible at night, when the building is lit from within.

The problem with U/C buildings in BXL is that , it is almost impossible to find information on the internet or at the local developper.

You always get the same reply : for what purpose do you need it ?
When responding that it serves for a better knowledgement for certain people who are interested in architecture they just lift up their shoulders and wish you a lovely day...

Are they afraid of nimbies ?

Maybe you should pretend you are a potential tenant and you need specific information.

No there are not afraid of NIMBY's.
In Belgium things like these are something odd , they are so suspicious when it comes to give answers .
A local bad attitude.

to give you an example:

For saturday the 17th of this month I try to visit some towers in BXL to take pictures from their rooftops with a few guys from a Belgian forum.
The first Q they ask is why in earth's name you want to take pictures !!
Who is interested in that ??

When asking for specific information they need to know who and what you are + for which purpose it is too.
I am always giving them straight answers hoping to get some phone number or an internetlink.
The only answer I get is : we may not do that , not giving a particulary reason either.

Sometimes it is depressing but I keep my fingers :fc:
I have hope & patience
