I love the ghost facade. It brings the presence of the whole Wacker wall in to the south, and that adds more depth to the array.

Does it help fill the streetwall? Yes...

Has it grown on me? No...

I still think it's a missed opportunity.

I know I'm being bitchy about it, but that's how I feel.

I'm glad to say that i had the chance to meet a lot of people associated with the original project. I have a couple of the brochures and pictures of the model.

The only thing that'll help make this up to me would be the redevelopment of the Renaissance Hotel property into something truly special and making it flush with Wacker.

The original did look pretty awesome.



I'm not a big fan of glass buildings but I think what we received is ok. It could have been worse?
