Calgary Roughnecks

seems to be Calgary's forgotten sports team. currently the Roughnecks are the top team in the National Lacrosse League with a 10-3 record. they have 3 games left on the season against Portland Lumberjax (at the Saddledome friday night), Edmonton Rush (in Edmonton) saturday, and Portland again (in Portland) on the 17th.

anyone here check out any of the games?

I've gone to a few games....once this year, and twice last year. I don't follow Lacrosse as much as hockey, but it's entertaining....and cheap I recommend going to a game.

Roughnecks won yesterday, which means that they advance to the NLL Finals.

^ If you are, you better hurry. I thought I would get off my butt and take in the Cup final on Friday. There are hardly any tickets left, it should be a rockin affair.
