according to a CBC report, if the city takes over the St. Charles Hotel and doesn't find a buyer within 90 days they're going to demolish? what a joke.

So little is said about that pad it's easy to forget it even exists. I think the last time there was any public statement about the office tower pad, it was in connection with a pitch for the Manitoba Hydro HQ a good decade or so ago. I think there was also some media discussion of a plan to build a lowrise office building on the hotel pad (the one between the existing and future tower) about a decade ago as well, but nothing came of it.

Given the hotel boom currently taking place in downtown Winnipeg, you have to wonder if the time is right for an atrium hotel over Winnipeg Square as was originally envisioned?

You can then put a similar line to the left of Investor Group and the right of the old Gentra Gas building (shinny blue) giving you Hargrave. These lines, as I imagine them, seem pretty close to paralell which could help figure out the other streets runing north/south.
If I recall correctly the photo is from the top of the CanadInns HSC. Given that info you should be able to easily draw your lines.
