To my knowledge, the design has not drastically changed.

I think he or she meant that the design looks behind the times, not that it's an old render or to imply that there's been a design change...

I thought that was fairly obvious?

This is what you get in the absence of action - conjecture.

What?

I stole this quote from MariusPontmercy over on Philadelphiaspeaks.com. I hope he/she doesn't mind, but it seemed a good way to bump this thread if nothing else.

Surveyors on Arch at Commerce site

I saw some surveyors around the parking lot and stopped to ask one of them what was going on. The guy said they were surveying the parking lot. Not exactly sure what for though, since I've heard no news about this project in years.

This project is offically dead. PBJ is reporting that the cite was sold to Liberty properties for $40 million. It is rumored that they are building offices for NBCU on the site. http://www.bizjournals.com/philadelp...-downtown.html

You don't spend $40 million on anything unless you've got something cooking, especially in this economy. I can't say I'm sad to see ACC go - there were parts of the proposal I really liked but there was a lot going on for that footprint.

Well, we know what LPT is capable of, so maybe they have something interesting planned for the site.

I mean comcas is 25 feet short, I'm sure it won't be too long... if you really wanna see 1000 footers that bad take a 90 minute train ride to NYC.
