Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words, appreciated!

Here's a high res look at TVCC's progression. You can notice that the green material is being removed from the "skin" on top of the building!

And here's a closer up look at the massive Service Building, east of CCTV & TVCC:

As per usual, many more photos here: CCTV Building Development Construction.

Enjoy! Also, if you'd like specific shots of specific details, please (clearly) let me know what you'd like to see!

Wow, cool. It almost looks cooler under construction than it does in the completed rendering.

Nightshot + stitch

To celebrate my new camera purchase (Canon 40D for those interested), here's a relatively high resolution night shot:

And a 20-image stitch (original file is 7073 x 6168!)

Enjoy.

Got an interesting angle yesterday

I was able to make a stitch of 98 images (10MP camera), which added up to about 160MP, now slightly less because of cropping... in any case, here it is:

Enjoy.

Massive overhang element added today

I nearly passed by the towers without noticing, but a massive horizontal element of the overhang has been added today, and very very rapidly, I might add! Here are a few perspectives:

Not very lonely at the top:

A slightly better angle:

And finally I understood what was going on:

Apologies for today's crap visibility...

Enjoy!

It's not your fault.

Great updates throughout. The most exciting construction update thread ever on SSP, I'd say.

Wonder why beijingtom hasn't updated his pictures here. But anyways, there are lots and lots of pictures in his Flickr photoset: http://flickr.com/photos/dutchtom/se...7600096629309/ .

When this is done, I want to see it in flesh.

You know...when I was in architecture school I wondered if I'd ever see Rem get to do something at a massive scale.

Holy hell!

Talk about putting things on another level in terms of form and structure.

Not sure why he stopped posting. I have him as a friend on flickr, so I've been able to keep up with this piece of amazing. If you're reading this, Tom, you yourself are a piece of amazing.

I want an office in the top section with a plate glass floor.

This thing is wicked.
