Cooperation of Alberta Thread

So instead of Edmonton vs Calgary (you know, the whole locked thread thing), let's see what the two cities can accomplish TOGETHER.

First person who can come up with something other than "bitch about the east" wins my respect. I know it's hard, what with Harper buying off Quebec this week...

We're each others best customers, and once we start that synergy really rocking...

oh, and if we can't bitch about the East, can we bitch about Vancouver?

Well we could put the Oilers (a good offensive team) and the Flames (a good defensive team) together just a thought...

I hate these Calgary-Edmonton co-operation threads. They can take away my right to smoke in a bar. They can take away my right to marry my cousin. But I will never let them take away my right to hate on Edmonton. Frankly, I wouldn't even take a shit in that town.

The answer is simple. Invade Red Deer and build a wall down the middle. A thousand foot wall. With blue spandrel glass. Skygardens. Public plaza on each side. A green roof. Intersecting with tree-lined walkable retail corridors. And an underground LRT running the length of it.

CtrlAltDel, a future rendering please.

Edmonton's offensive game is long gone...Calgary's defensive game of late is debatable too.

CCF ... do you Saskatchewan forumers 'enjoy' the same degree of 'good natured' anamosity in terms of Regina vs. Saskatoon as the Edmonton vs. Calgary bunch do?

The Flames were 5th in league scoring until recently (now they're 6th or 7th). I wouldn't call them a "good defensive team" this year - if they were, they'd be on top of the conference.

'Course the nice thing to do would be to introduce Calgarian rednecks to indoor plumbing, then the whole going poopie issue could be put to rest.
