I feel that during this period of massive redevelopment in Edmonton, many important aspects of the City's built heritage become second thoughts. Not sure if this theme needs it's own thread, but I have not seen a thread dedicated to heritage buildings in the City, be it existing or demolished.
Essentially, this thread can be used to bring both significant and humble parts of the City's built heritage to light.
Everyone remember the Arthur Davies House in Old Strathcona (10606 84 Ave)? It was in the news a year and a half ago as it was under threat of demolition. I was curious to see if it was still around, and, alas, it has vanished (

Does anyone know if it was demolished or moved elsewhere? It would definitely be a shame if it was demoed.
