Yes, but there is a whole Canada beyond the GTHA full of people who don't know about Hamilton, or have heard of it and assume it's a small town or a suburb of Toronto.
I'd also nominate Winnipeg and Edmonton, both highly underrated but I'd give a slight edge to Edmonton which, like Hamilton, also is very forgotten. People may make jabs at Winnipeg, but at least people are aware of its existence.
Nanaimo, Penticton, Lethbridge, Brandon, Guelph, Kingston, Trois Rivieres, Saint John, Fredericton, and St. John's also come to mind for smaller cities.
