I really like the look and quality of your photos. Very nice!
I took a drive out to port Renfrew once about 10 years ago. Such a beautiful place. You captured it well.

I always enjoy the fact that Vancouver (for the most part) makes the most of its incredible setting and builds itself in an appropriately dense fashion. When I bused through for the first time on my way to BC to go skiing I remember thinking that there was a strong natural/urban dichotomy and how wonderful that was in terms of an inhabited environment. Thanks for the shots (they are quite nice).

Thanks for the compliment. I remember I arrived Port Renfrew very late and it was very dark already. I saw only still light in a liqueur shop.
The owner was very friendly and tried to help me to find a hotel and called all her friends in Renfrew, but it it was not possible to find one.

But one of her girl friend have a Chalet in a tourist camp in the forest. She picked me up and I followed her with my rental car.
I was the only one in the camp because it was outside of the tourist season (btw. day of Tsunami in Asia).

She gave me the key and said to me: "It is no problem to pay next day and also no problem to smoke in the Chalet (Wow, and this in
North America!) and I should not have fear because only bears can visit me". Ha, ha, ha I smiled and in the next moment I was alone.
Only on the next day it was possible for me to see the beautiful landscape around the Chalet.

One day before I was in Nanaimo and I saw this interesting building. Can you tell me more about this building?

Greetings, Harry

You have a good eye - these pictures have a dreamy quality to them. They make look Vancouver look like a scale model - and I mean that in a good way.
