Thanks for that heads up, here the renders. I much prefer the new design over the old.

They've hardly made any progress on this building. When are they going to pick up the pace of construction?

November 30th:

December 2nd:

Adding some concrete on the Flatbush side..

Facebook has some decent photos, but they look a bit dated.... They've made a lot of progress over the last month or so.. Concrete has started to come in more frequently and it looks like the edges are coming along quickly. Looks like there's more permanent pieces than there were a month or two ago. Hopefully they're getting ready to go vertical soon.

They had major drainage issues with the site, that's one of the reasons for the delay.

Slow going on the foundation work, but it does look like a pretty tight site.

I took one today, but with the weather it's not too clear and it looks basically the same. Foundation looks to have made a lot of progress.

Construction Pace

Why is the pace of construction so slow for this project?

Because they are working on the foundation. Use your head...

I've been following this project for months now. No foundation takes this long, not even for a skyscraper.

Sounds to me like you think you know what you're talking about. That is not the case.

Another thing is a lack of tenants. They might not want to build an empty skyscraper.

That might be possible. It's just that in my experience, I haven't seen foundations take this long to complete. I actually saw a skyscraper start in boston after this one, and they have already started going vertical on that building a few months ago.
