REVEALED: 14TH STREET TOWER PROPOSED AT 39 STORIES, WILL INCLUDE MICRO-UNITS

Developer NR Investments has submitted plans to build another tower near their recently completed Canvas condo high rise.

The neighborhood has been branded the Arts & Entertainment District by developers and has also been called the Omni area.

14th Street Tower is proposed to include:

39-stories (440 feet tall)
739,634 square feet of total floor area
543 residential units (including 231 micro-sized units under 400 square feet)
35,128 square feet of office
8,706 square feet of commercial/retail space
452 parking spaces
Workforce housing will be provided, resulting in density bonuses of height and square footage above what zoning would normally allow on the property.

Miami’s Urban Development Review Board is scheduled to review the proposal at a meeting on July 17. Four waivers from Miami 21 are being requested.
