Definitely better.

My favorite shots of Uptown are from Reunion Tower or the Continental Bridge Park.

Pacific Plaza Park

I am pretty excited about this park, although I really wish they would include the original towers planed for this area.. Oh well. more parks are good, I am sure it will help the area grow like Klyde Warren did!

The park will be nice but it's unfortunate there aren't a lot of open lots nearby, so I wouldn't expect the same kind of growth we've seen adjacent to KWP. Best case scenario would be the mini convention facility across Harwood eventually being redeveloped into some kind of high-rise development.

Harwood Park, on the other hand, could spur a lot of new development.

This is just what was needed on that lot. I hope it influences the previous Sam's Club proposed lot and then over to the current Target shopping center that's dying to be torn down.

VP New Tallest

https://www.dallasnews.com/business/...st-138-million

Check out the link below for information on the new tallest King of VP.
I am so excited we get another tall tower!

"The 39-story skyscraper will be constructed across the street from American Airlines Center arena and next door to the W Dallas Victory Hotel and Residences."

"The residential tower will include 334 apartments and 9,500 square feet of retail space."

I think the Mandarin was to be 650 feet with 43 stories. I wonder if this will have some architectural elements on top to give it some additional height.

Maybe they will redevelop the Target shopping center. There are not a lot of places to shop in that area. Redevelopment would be great. But Target is so necessary especially with the dearth of grocery stores around town.

It's interesting to see the tower in this particular context but it will definitely appear more prominent when viewed from a number of other perspectives.
