Phoenix, still can't get it right.

I like some of these pictures, but they all seem a little grainy, possibly due to the air quality and the 300 zoom? Any critique is welcome, and enjoy.

And our newest tower!

I'm liking the shots! It must've been a HPA day with all the haze, anyways, I like how you managed to get the Biltmore area in the last two photos.

Part of it is the time of day you are shooting, sun high in the sky makes the camera pick up all the dust in the air and gets a little washed out.

Still, lots of familiar vantage points. I like how 'beefy' the DT skyline has gotten in the last 3-4 years. Feels like it's almost doubled in size (though I know it hasn't).

Yep, distance and time of day. Try early morning or evening shots.

Nice shots! A UV filter may help with the haze if you are not using one already...

Good shots!

I don't think my camera is as nice as yours, but I have had a lot of luck doing early morning long range shots with the equipment I have now. It mostly has a lot to do with the time of day as to how well your pics turn out, as others here have suggested. Or, you need to use filters.

Almost quite literally.

In this shot, there are eight new buildings there were not there 3 years ago, including 4 high rises and 4 low rise buildings, but all can be seen from this vantage point.

Great photos! That last one is pretty cool, what is that building in the lower left?

the last picture is of BofA, Cityscape, and roofs in my condo complex.

Second to last which I have a hunch is what you're talking about with the pink triangular building is the Ritz Carlton.

I agree...I wish it was a more streamlined (skinnier and taller) design...they definitely could have used better materials. But, hey...it's something...

Going back to this photo, a couple buildings on Block 23 (directly west of the BofA tower) would do wonders for the skyline...really tie it all together and make it look so much better.

Weren't we supposed to get a couple 400' towers there? Oh yea...the Cityscape project.
