I'd be surprised if you find any in stock for a while, your best bet is ordering from here

Ah, come on man. Bicycle couriers are an awesome part of urban culture.

I'm way behind on these threads, so forgive me if this has already been discussed... anyone taken a raft through the new weir now that the water is lower? How is it?

Also... should we create a hailstorm mini-thread? I'm seeing dents in one of our cars and we didn't even get half the size of hail the rest of the NW saw. I imagine a lot of damage after last night. Reports of sunroofs and windshields smashing, and pieces of houses being blasted off (damnable vinyl siding!).

Haven't heard anything of any damage to any buildings downtown so far, golf ball sized hail definitely has the ability to smash some windows...

1ajs' wifi keeps crashing. Someone pull him out of the house and show him a good time.

Do it for me.

I'd love to be there but I have a previous engagement 2,000km away. I hope more than one person shows up!

We're getting hit pretty good here in the NE by the airport, no hail yet.

And its already over in the NW, blue sky visible again. Didn't get much hail or thunder, but the wind was pretty wicked. For one moment the cloud was hanging so low you couldn't see COP from the University, and the rain that was coming down was, well, actually going upwards at times as it deflected around buildings on campus. Was actually pretty neat to see.

Downtown is already mostly clear, but wow - that was some of the strongest winds I've ever seen here. And that's saying something in Calgary.

I hope worksites were tied down something good.

Lots of firetrucks roaring through the core - I guess we'll have to wait until the news gets out as to whether there were any weather related events...

Still quite windy in the NW, and I can see another dark band of cloud heading our way from my office. The very fast moving low level cloud that is out there is pretty cool to watch too.

Already reports on twitter of smashed windows downtown, and even mention of TD Square being evacuated (not sure why).

High angle rescue is out to get stranded window washers on the 15th floor of a building on 5th avenue.

the radar showed the heart of the storm right passed directly over Airdrie, anyone airdrie folks on here? Also said radar conked out as soon as the edge of the storm got to it at 2:40ish.
