I agree with others, the proportions are off. They tried to cram too many classical elements into a small building.

Lots of developments in Chinatown, new restaurants opening and this particular commercial center is going up across from the Chinatown plaza.

CES 2018 is back in town and Google has a massive exhibit installation with two huge LED screens on the parking lot of the convention center.

CES 2018 is massive, it even has a temporary exhibit area the length of a city block aside from the exhibit halls at the Las Vegas Convention Center. No city in the United States can match the available convention space in Clark County, NV. From the Las Vegas Convention Center, Westgate Convention Center, Sands Expo and Convention Center, Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Aria Convention Center, MGM Convention Center, Caesars Convention Center.....If I remember correctly Clark County, NV has over 9 million square ft of convention space with more under construction.

Still lots of setting up going on at the convention center. Around 180,000 industry professionals coming to town and with around 50,000 from overseas for this year's Consumer Technology Association or commonly known as CES.

Just read an interesting fact about our convention centers in Clark County, NV courtesy of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
Clark County, NV has over 11 million square ft of exhibit and meeting space and growing with more projects in the works. I doubt any city in the US or the world could top that.
