Ooh so exciting! I've waited so long to see a building in this space

also is it just me, or is the construction not.. looking like the render? What is with the big solid concrete piece at the top left over there? (EDIT - that area is actually for the elevator - it is pushed back farther than what is shown in the picture)

So apparently nobody has posted interior renders for this project - so here you go (press ctrl plus "-" on your keyboard till the pics fit, then ctrl plus "+" to put it back to normal):

Two-way fireplace opening out onto roof patio ("The Patricia" Unit)

Lobby

Mateus Kitchen

Gorgeous Rooftop Patio - top front left hand side of building

Acclamation Residences Render

What I like about this building is it will actually have some architectural details - note the cornices on the bottom of the balconies 2/3s up and under the roof on the right hand side

I often wonder about rooftop patio furniture though - does it get mildewey when it rains, or is it waterproof?

I also like how the parking is on the parking entrances for these new buildings are on the side so as not to detract from the glamour of the facade.

Here are some floor plans:

No doubt these are fine looking units. I am kicking myself for not buying.

one unit was originally listed on realtor.ca for $545K. it was bought presale at $425K. the price was lowered to $525K and again lowered to $495K where it has sat for over a month.

https://www.realtor.ca/Residential/S...Ontario-L8R2K9

Original Presale units could be had for under $300K

I'm watching this closely as I look to buy once the building is complete. I was very close to pulling the trigger during presale.

They look like names from the builder's family.

They are the names of the family their children and grandchildren.

"Manuel and his family invested in James Street North long before its renewal, opening Acclamation Restaurant in 2002, in a building that Manuel restored personally. Today, that vision is becoming a reality in the Residences at Acclamation.

As a tribute to this legacy, the residences themselves have been named after the members of Manuel’s family; his wife, children, and grandchildren. With a lifetime of hard work and craftsmanship, Manuel built a company that bears his name. Now, that same quality and dedication are being used to construct the finest luxury residences in Hamilton."

This project is so exciting! I love seeing the progress along James st!

It also looks SOOO satisfying to finally see this massive missing tooth be filled in along this street!
