thanks for posting. the crane was finished yesterday, and is being used today.

they're estimating it'll be about 4 months until the steel structure gets topped out.

yep -- the steel structure is supposed to begin next month. they seem to be on schedule to top out sometime in late winter/early spring.

the significance of this shot is that today they covered the basement, and for the first time in 10 years, there is no longer a gaping hole at the corner of 8th and main.

at the news, many bananas danced.

they've been pretty true to their word of going up one floor per week.

at that rate, it should be topped out by end of march.
