You guys are getting some great new towers in the TO. I love that city so much. I can't wait to get back up there.

One Bloor East has been bought by developer of Crystal Blue. Its alive!!!
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=440488

Maybe Crystal blue sales were so good, they thought they should try something bigger???

Its a 60 story tower and with no opposition to its height. It is in a prime location in the city (in the heart of one of Canada's most posh neighbourhood)

That area will change... crytsal blue over 400 feet, Uptown over 500 feet, the x not to far away at over 400 feet, the four seasons near 200 meters.

Every city has a Unique feel. But I must admit Toronto is really covering all the bases when it comes to different vibes throughout the town.

Alot of this 5 star stuff is for the super rich. And nothing laymen like myself can ever afford. Unless I win the jackpot. It will only be oil shieks, billionaries, and jet set movie stars that will be able to truely enjoy this town if this keeps up.

Let's cross our fingers and hope for the best.

I heard "the X Condominium" site prep work to begin soon.

Do we have enough people in this city to do all this construction work?

Its a lot of jobs, Im sure. And we have to compete with Alberta for people.

Toronto is getting some nice elegant towers in a very posh area of town.

This building will in effect - double the size of the posh most portions of Yorkville. (Yorkville is the richest and most elegant shopping district in Toronto with the name brands of Prada, Channel, Tiffany, Rolls Royce, Ferrari, etc etc)
Is this the latest Four Seasons rendering? Found it on SSC. If so, they've ruined it! looks really run of the mill!

^ It still looks nice, but not as good as the old rendering.

In all seriousness, the cartoon rendering just became more realistic.

It looks identical to the first.

Typical.

This tower will look great when done. Very tall, and very slender. The only difference between the new rendering and the old is the height icrease and the lack of dark lines. It's going to ad a new peak to uptown

Keep in mind that you are seeing the Four Seasons from a different angle. You can still see the fins on the left side of the rendering. The quality of the finish although can not be judged from a rendering. They are always supposed to exaggerate to make the building better (although usually the builders have no intention of building it this way).

Lumiere is 60% sold in a very short time, while M5V is only 35% sold. M5V well only sell well again when it gets aprroved like the Maple Leaf Sqaure...
PLus also in the Star it mentioned Rocp 3 and it said it could start sales in April...

I was just looking at the future rendering of trump in the skyline, and it is awfully close to scotia tower. I think it makes the skyline look a little wierd. Toronto has a mountain style skyline, and with trump so close to scotia it might ruin the mountain look. It would have been beeter if Trump was more centered in the middle of FCP and Scotia!

Yeah your not the first person to notice that -Trump being real close to Scotia. Thats the one & only thing I don't like about Trump.

But if you had the option, would you rather build it where it is or not build it at all?

- The most current rendering is far more realistic. The first rendering was far to cartoonish to make a judgement.

That said....

.....they look identical.
