Well it looks like they manage some buildings, but have they ever built a condo tower ever?

A bit on the bland side, yet I like it for its simplicity. Some nice added height for London too.

Awesome! I love the lighting up the side - I was just saying to someone the other day that we don't have enough lit buildings in our skyline. Almost the entire thing sits in darkness at night, save for the glowing green TD logos lol

Market West is the applicant. No idea who they are.

Looks nice. Hopefully this doesn't sit on the long list of proposals that have gone no where fast.

CFPL TV reports it's York Development. Not good news given their poor record of actually building any highrise residential.

Looks like its a York development. I know they are moving heavily into the residential market. They are working quickly to get their twin Fanshawe Rd. tower project moving right now.

From the CTV interview I found it an interesting twist that they plan on having a restaurant at the top of the tower to take advantage of the views of downtown and the river. That will be a great dining experience for downtown.

Are you guys sure that it's York Development? If yes it doesn't sound really promising to be honest...

I am giving York a chance on this one... Farhi for example has had 2 towers announced downtown over the last decade that never happened. York is just starting out... They have shovels in the ground on 2 residential subdivisions in Lambeth, Almost finished a Lowes on wonderland with more retail this summer, A tower with the OMB at wonderland & Southdale... that hopefully should be approved soon, land is ready to start on twin towers on Fanshawe. and they donated a piece of land for the SWCC. So right now i'll assume this will get built.

Work is being done on the former nightclub. Couldn't tell if they were demolition prepping or redoing the front for something to go in there temporary until they are ready for construction.

This is quite an attractive building and the idea of a public restaurant on the top floor with sweeping views is a good one and a real first for London. When buildings have such amenities it is actually a good sign because a lot more work has to go into the engineering, architecture, zoning, and the viability research of the business case so the development company has invested a lot more time and money into the project thus far so they are more inclined to build to recoup those added costs.
