Thanks for continuing to post these pics of HN and Ha Long Bay.

I've been to Ha Noi a couple times myself: the Old Quarter, Frech Quarter and Lake District are pretty cool...very different from Saigon.

Lots to do in Vietnam and well worth the visit.

I saw jackets in some of those photo's, so there's hope I may go over there for a visit. This long-term desert rat, so accustomed to very low humidity, swore off that region of the country, after a disastrous trip to Bangkok, where I almost keeled over with the heat and humidity, so if I do my research on the coolest time to visit there, it may happen!

Now is the time to go, to still see it in its generic state, before it gets Singapored or Shanghaiied!

On my trips to Americanized China, I thought many times: Too late! Should have visited there 20 years ago!
