So, it looks like it's going to snow here this weekend with temps reaching -7c (coldest in decades), so I'll definitely be out taking pictures of the city at a standstill. Should be fun.
For now, here's a few photos from the past month.
Line 12 and 13 finally opened (half of Line 12 was opened over a year ago), and both lines opened stations right outside my door. I now have 4 subway lines (1,10,12,13) a block away from my apartment.

Yishan Rd. It's become a new CBD hub in the past few years.

There's nothing better than Sichuan food in the winter (anytime, really). I discovered this place that has some of the best dan dan mien (sesame sauce noodles with crushed peanuts and spices) in town. The owner is an older metal dude from Chengdu. He still plays in some bands, and owns a live venue in the city. His noodles are legit.

This was a Sichuan noodle dish I'd never tried; fresh noodles and minced pork covered with his daily-made spicy oils and creamy chickpeas. Seriously amazing.

It's always nice to see the city restore a building to its former glory, rather than tear it down.

I think I'll be staying on this side of my window until it snows. Shanghai, at these temps, can be bitterly cold thanks to high humidity, rain and wind.
