Nested in New York

A long time since I posted a thread here, even longer since I posted one from within the US (2008??). Living in NYC now, here are some shots I've taken since arriving a few months ago. This might be a disappointment for tall building enthusiasts. Most of the shots are of the streets and the people within.

Keeping in the spirit of my other threads, some local tunes:

I think I'm still mid India tour with my other threads. I will try to get around to posting the rest, but much of my style is so people oriented and so far removed from an urban environment, it really doesn't jive for me to post portrait and tribal shots here. You can always check my website if you want to see more. I'll keep shooting and posting NYC, maybe even a skyscraper or two

Beautiful, just beautiful. Don't worry about the lack of skyscrapers, there's a reason why New York (Manhattan) is a street photography mecca, and you captured the humanity of the city well.

New York city and its inhabitants are always worth to do a phototour. Thanks for sharing your excellent pictures, Okayyou.

Your people shots are awesome. I´ve specially enjoyed all those pictures of the nth winter storm in NYC.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.
