But I really wish you'd pay attention, no ones saying that its the greatest.
Simply put, its an improvement and that in itself is noteworthy.

I pass by this building several times a day, and its the only building in that area of the waterfront that doesn't cause my eyes to strain.

Have you ever been down there in person?
I'm guessing no, and I'll also guess that you've only ever seen the area in pictures. If that's indeed the case, its difficult to take you opinion seriously then.

Actually i have been and while it wasn't at the height it is now, I still find it mediocre and that people only think it is 'hot' because it is tall.

Do you really think it is all that much better than the other waterfront stuff of late? really?

Its not just the height, its the buildings proportions; sleek & slender.
Who doesn't like that?
If you know what I mean, same applies here, least to me.

And yes I do think its better than other recent buildings that have been built in that district. Not including MLS, its a bit early to judge that one just yet.

In any case like caltrane said no point dragging it on, guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.

I wish these were built in (city) Toronto. I'd trade them for the Pinnacle complex.

Huh? The waterfront is possibly the only place they could work in central Toronto however, they work best exactly where they are. Typically, towers-in-a-park where the park has been replaced by a podium afterthought.
