I thought this might be kind of cool. As some of you know, STLgasm and I run a sideline business creating and printing t-shirts and other apparel with a St. Louis theme (see link in my sig). I took some pics of our studio, where we spend a ridiculous amount of time. It is located in Soulard, on St. Louis' Near South Side, in an old mattress factory that was converted to artist studios in the mid-1980s. Feel free to post pics of where you spend most of your time too!

That's cool JivecitySTL, it's really nice at least you can live and work from there.

Since january 8th, I work and spend most of my time in my loft in Montréal, Mile-End/Outremont limits.

It's only a 5 or 10 minutes walk from Kilgore and Miss Laine's appartment if I'm not wrong.
I think Kool Maudit still lives on Avenue du Parc, which is he street to access my block.

I am at the fourth level, so don't think it's my view from the windows

Hola... I wish but I just can't live there, it's not permitted (allowed/whatever)... I wish.

Here is the real view from my loft/workspace... as you see, the scaffold fucked up my panorama maker, I had to adjust so many things manually.
Taken yesterday, these pics are taken from the corner from 2 different windows. It gives a real 180° view.

The brick joints are gonna be fully restored (as new) and they start on our side, the tip shape above the main entrance.
They will also replace all the windows at spring (I'm kind of sad of it) but I didn't see the model they're planning. I've heard they have taste.

Anyway... the real view, this saturday afternoon.

Seriously, I pay $1113.90 CDN per month, tax included, and it's heated for this price. Less than $10.00/SQ. FT. it's mostly nothing...

The Café Vienne in the lobby seems to be «just for us», the owners are gold.
