So if it's 130m why is it 123m in diagram ? Someone should really update height on all buildings.

The Montreal diagram is behind on the times in too many departments. Some major buildings are missing (Montreal general hospital comes to mind) and many others have inaccurate or missing stats. I'd love to help out, but I don't have the software or the know-how.

I believe most of the original drawers have moved on to other things.

Thanks for the shots!

I'm liking the positive impact this is having on Victoria Square.

How do you find the cladding? I haven't seen it in person yet, although from the photos, I am pleasantly surprised with the black-tinted windows, instead of the typical blue glass.

This is turning out better than I thought. I just wish we had some retail space at street level, something that's sorely lacking in 700 de la gauchetiere across beaver hall.

Hi all,

First time posting on the Montreal side of the forum.

I have a quick question for those who might be in the know, or those who might have some insight.

A poster on the mtlURB board is asserting that this building is actually only 120 M in height, the city is only permits 120 M in height, and that the developer is not allowed to build past that despite the fact that he is marketing units on floors 33, 34, and 35, which would be above this height limit.

He says he ultimately does not believe those floors will be built.

Could there be any truth to this? Would a developer design and market units he can't legally build?

Thanks

MALED1ZIONE is a troll. He grabs a fistfull of numbers and claims out of his ass, yet everything he has said about the Marriott turned out to be false.

Stop right there. Already there we know it's bullshit.

MALED1ZIONE has got that website by the balls. He actually convinced them that Roccabella is like 500m tall. He also predicted that l'Avenue would be the first (and at some point he asserted it would be the only) tower built around the Bell centre, when actually it's been the last to break ground. It's quite funny, actually.
