Pantages tower - 45 storeys is east of Yonge. although it is a very weak example of a skyscraper.

My favourite east of Yonge skyscraper would be SP!RE. Still one of the best condo towers in the city IMO. The parking lots on the eastside (mostly north of Queen) will gradually get filled up. Especially now that it's gentrifying quickly and starting to shed its "sketchy-ness".

True. UT is good for information, but I rarely pay any attention to opinions posted on that site. Generally, UT members have very rigid ideas about urban planning and architecture. If it doesn't adhere to strict design parameters, it's considered wrong.

It looks good, but it would look great if they started the setbacks lower down. That would make the whole building look sleek whereas now, it kinda looks like a standard glass condo box with a low-ambition gussied up roof line

They really should redevelop that 8 floor glass office building directly east of BCE Place and west of the parkette. You could put a super tall there easily.

i swear that certian persons rule about architechture is that if it isnt Aa, it aint architechture! back on topic now.
