Great design for 1201 - without knowing much about it l, I wonder if this is a spec office bldg or if the developer has a tenant lined up, especially given how hot this general area is...

That's a really nice building they're tearing down next to Red Lion Pub...not to mention the loss of a few decent Old Town buildings.

Rahm's communications director, Adam Collins, is reporting that ground breaking for the new riverfront trail in West Ridge at McCormick and Devon occurred today. Coincidentally, this is occurring less than a week before mayors come to Chicago to discuss the economic impact of revitalizing city rivers. I will very much enjoy using this trail once it's completed

Finally - its amazed me how that lot remained vacant so long occupying such pricey real estate, especially after the TOD ordinance.

I think it was approved, but the Rug Store is still open...

Al Friedman is building the Moxy at the moment, I hope the Murdoch project is next in line.

There were no lack of approved projects for those parcels since they tore down the El Rincon Clinic.
First, in '06, it was gonna be "The Feelgood Condos" Mixed use with 9 eco friendly condos and 14 parking spaces.
Then, in 2010, it was gonna be the Green Park Eco Garage, a LEED Gold, robotic, 100 car parking structure. They even held a groundbreaking ceremony for that, and then...bupkis.

There's a residential/retail proposal for the beautiful 3-story brick and limestone building at 1970 N Milwaukee and the adjoining surface lot to northwest. Plans show a 7 storey building and a vertical addition of 4 storeys to 1970. Architect is Forum.

There was this proposal from Forum last November at this location, has it changed since then?

^That's it, but the rendering has been refined to look more professional, the building is 7 storeys, not 8, it's a 4 storey vertical addition on the old structure, and it's from the opposite angle.

The transportation plans that start around page 34 of the pdf are certainly interesting! Still disappointed no mention of el stop on division st. on the red or brown line though
