The view from my "office" at sunrise (Vancouver)

Just one pic, but I shot this through the window at work and thought someone might appreciate it.



From downtown Vancouver facing north at 6:30 in the morning.

Awesome! I swear that the natural setting of Vancouver is among the world's best.

I was wondering what the point of that was too. I believe that building is over 100 years old... one of the first in the city. I thought an original photo of it may have an explanation but this shows a more normal looking external fire escape on that side (and some weird crap on the front):



And to make it even more strange, it appears they photoshopped the ladder out of their external photo on their site. Either that or it's a very new addition?!:
