I still have yet to visit Philly, I need to take a trip like now to see it and photograph the shit out of it. Great set by the way. Whenever I come we should meet up and do photos.

Soo many great shots and there's something about that first intro pic that just feels.. I don't know... epic? And it looks like your quality has improved again - a lot of bokeh shots. Did you get a new lens?

Here's a couple of my favorites:

Hole In The Fence by phillytrax, on Flickr

^ For some reason this one just draws me in

GAWD by phillytrax, on Flickr

^ And I like how this one was framed almost like a "Tale of Two Cities" sort of way.

On a side note: Giovanni Sasso always has the most entertaining comments...

photoLith, let's do it. I've got the first round.

sasso, The crisp bite of autumn spells doom to the sounds of summer and that includes Mr. Softee...but he shall return.

ChiTown, I used a couple of new lenses that I've had for a few months now. The 50mm prime is responsible for the bokeh. And Sasso is part of the old guard - he's been cracking them up for years.

Peace, love, soul and thanks SSP.

Killer thread. Enjoyed the sub themes and attention to DOF. Looks like you're putting the 50 to good use. Great stuff.

It seems like there are some amazing Philly photographers here. I mean the last two Philly threads were just beyond epic. This is incredible photography. What a great city.

Thanks a bunch. I'm loving that 50mm but it deserves a better body to work with.

Things are not as crisp as I would like them to be. The camera is six years old with many many thousands of shutter clicks to its name and the time to replace it is coming soon.

If I win the lottery, I will buy you a new camera.

I missed this thread the first time around. Awesome set man. It's been 3 years since I've been to Philly, that needs to change.

Great collection of work! I may have to run away to Philly. It's been a while since I've been up that way.
