It's a complex situation and I agree that the City of Atlanta deserves a backhand for not doing what they should or could have been doing for the past 40 years to avoid this situation. There are many forces at play here. The suburb that will host the new stadium is not in Atlanta city limits; it's a separate county so there is a pissing match to contend with as well.

Atlanta should look into getting a Minor League team to play at Turner Field.
