Great news, this can only mean construction is set to commence VERY soon.

ROCP 3 - 60 Storey & 20 Storey

444 Yonge Street the Yonge-Gerrard lands.

I've been waiting for the Staff Report / Information Memo regarding this project and was hoping it'd show up for the June 13th Council Meeting, for which the agenda has not been posted yet.

Elliot on SSC got the following information from the City Planner working on the file:
  • The proposal is for a mixed commercial and residential development, consisting of two residential buildings, one 50-storey tower on Yonge Street and a second 10-storey building on Gerrard Street West, both above a 10-storey podium that extends over the entire parcel. Overall, the two proposed buildings are 60-storeys (196m) and 20-storeys (75m).
  • The proposal has a gross floor area of 127,140 m2, of which 29,585 m2 is for above-grade parking; 83,610 m2 for residential area; and 12,330 m2 for retail space.

Thanks Elliot / Maldive

When the report comes out next week I'll be posting it.

If it was invisible you wouldn't know he had even placed it on the picture. It is clearly visible from the lake, which I assume you mean when you say the front since their in no front or back view.

No Trup Tower on the list? Do we have to wait until next year for that tower to begin construction?

The only towers I listed are under construction or were given dates at which they will begin construction by the developers or some other credible source. Trump has had no definite date attached to its construction, although I would expect it to begin either near the end of this year or early next year. If not by then, then it will certainly go into the probably ain't going to happen list.

20 Storeys (75 m) and 60 Storeys (196.5 m)

869 Units

Sort of looks like 18 Yorkville. Larger tower fronts onto Yonge Street, small 20 storey fronts Gerrard.

looks great, especialy since its 196m, and ya gotta love the massive podium.

Are you going to add it to the Toronto diagram Tony? Im guessing it will go between the ritz and RBC centre.
