Yummy.

These 2 near-700 footers located west of Simcoe Street will look absolutely huge in the east/west skyline! The only thing really tall in those blocks is Simcoe Place 1 and it's under 500 feet.

Actually it's a replacement project to the one that was started and left as a 6 storey concrete stump. (Said stump is to be demolished and turned into an urban park in this new proposal)

FYI - Sapphire Tower's been rejected by the community council because of "shadow concerns on Nathan Phillips Square"... which amounts to 2 hours a day during the late summer and winter. Not surprisingly, it's now going to the OMB.

Geez, Toronto is smaller than I thought....not.

Toronto is so beautiful and will only get better when these new towers are built. Keep us informed.

So is the project dead or will it be relocated or will be redesigned thinner?

is the community council's decision binding in any way, or is it just a recommended rejection? does the OMB have the power to over rule the community council's action?
