Wow, interesting design and good on UPMC. Couple this expansion with the one happening at the U of Penn, CHOP, and medical research campus at Schuykill Yards project in Philly right now and the residents of the state will have lots of medical advancement and options available.

Just one metric but as of 2012 Pennsylvania was already 8th in the nation in per capita active physicians.

Honestly, this sounds like it will be pretty cool. A lot of nice stuff in the building, plus room for 190+ cars in the "parking deck".

It will also feature an exclusive Audi Sport area that’s only found in a select few Audi locations worldwide. An expansive 2nd-floor showroom will showcase more top-of-the-line vehicles, while the 3rd-floor mezzanine will house offices and conference rooms. All floors will also have relaxation areas so customers can kick back in luxury. And there will even be a rooftop entertainment area with panoramic views of the Downtown skyline.

The exterior will also boast a 190+ vehicle parking deck. This will hold new and pre-owned vehicles and an eco-friendly, “green wall.”

If this is open before we move offices, this is definitely where I'll be bringing my car for inspection. (It helps that it's only 3 blocks away too.)

Not sure how much all of you are familiar with "autonomous" cars, but basically, they are divided up into 6 categories. Level 0, no functionality through Level 5, fully autonomous/no driver. Right now the highest level in production for the public is Level 2 (Audi/Tesla) with a tiny amount of limited Level 3 (Cadillac) sprinkled in.

The problem with going further up the ladder than Level 2 is that until you can achieve Level 5, accidents will almost certainly go UP because humans would need to intervene when the computers can't figure out what to do. And human drivers become exponentially LESS likely to be able to effectively take over when they are allowed to zone out for extended periods of time, as further autonomy hypothetically allows them to do.
