Denver: Before the Blizzard

was out in Denver in early November and had the opportunity to get some pictures. I wanted to get into the neighborhoods but I was strapped for time and am not that familiar with Denver outside of the core. Enjoy!

Civic Center

Looking west down 16th

Main Library from Michael Graves. I would say as a Portlander that Denver made out better with Graves buildings

Libeskind expansion of the Art Museum

State Capitol

Paramount Theater

Qwest Tower, one of Denver's largest

random street

They turned this building into an Old Spaghetti Factory

Union Station

Glass House rising in the Central Platte Valley

Downtown with Union Station and a light rail train in the foreground

Parting shot of the city at night

Nice!!! Denver looks great as always.
A lot of construction in the city, will see how it turns out in a couple of years.
Certainly it will look great.

Great pictures!! Hope you enjoyed your visit. I like how the qwest tower appears triangular.

Trust me, it is... It's actually been known already to give people vertigo while wandering through the building...
