"Expedience" = a ton of $$$ savings

I don't have the number but I've read that the transportation costs for Rikers to court transportation is enormous. I also don't have the data but I have my doubts a significant percentage are those with simultaneous multi borough court appearances.

They're rebuilding the jail that's already there, same as in the other boroughs.
