^ A giant I-beam shape, partially sheathed in glass, will be kind of cool. An ode to the many steel/glass skyscrapers of NYC.

125 Greenwhich can be seen on the right (right of 4 WTC). 111 Murray on the left. 1 M Square top left. If you look closely, one Seaport.

Center shot (125 Greenwich). Call also see One Seaport (left) and 23 Park Row.

Also in the center, if you look closely, the Wall Street tower u/c.

This can't be far from topping out.

Using the vertical crane/jib in the aerial above as a frame of reference, how much left is there?

The jury is still out on whether this is going to block the view from my office or if I'll be able to just clear it, it should be pretty close. (70th floor at 4WTC) If only this was about 100 feet shorter.

Yikes, now I sound like a NIMBY.

I'll take some pictures soon-ish.

They're not - it shouldn't be permitted, really.

That's Vinoly's shtick, cheap construction masquerading as starchitecture. Bare concrete, painted concrete, etc.

I kinda feel like this tower is really underwhelming for the area. It should of been 1,300 ft. Barley makes a dent, and the crazy part is that this is over 900 ft.

Remember this tower was originally planned to be well over 1,000ft before they scaled it back.

I think the compliments the WTC complex pretty well.
