Awesome job Summersm. Love the view from West Philly. Yes, let's hope this thread starts off with a bang with the Comcast Tower, 1441 Chestnut, and the other LPT Tower is rumored to be building on that lot at 18th & Arch!!!

In reversal house passes transportation bill

I knew they would do it but I thought it would take an emergency session in late December to do it. This is good news for Philadelphia.

For a bit of nostalgia, definitely take a look at the rundown (page 1) from Philly VIII.

The good - CC and RATR just completed, finishing touches on 10 Rit and construction in full swing at Waterfront Sq, 1706, and 777 South Broad.

The bad - lots of "approved" and "proposed" projects never completed, including the American Commerce Tower, a beautiful plan for the Boyd, Dilworth House, and a nice tower on 5th and Walnut among others.

The ugly - Sugarhouse Hotel and Casino, LOL! Nice renderings but the "Hotel and Casino" ended up just being a low end slots barn.

Here's to the next 10,000 posts, may they be filled with lots of great news

There is a Zoning Board hearing today (Nov. 20th at 12 noon at 1515 Arch Street, 18th floor) to discuss Dranoff's highrise project, one riverside near 25th and Locust. If you have an opinion, let it be heard and show up.
