Its cool that the banks are looking for space. I think Bay Park is next because the Dominion Building sold, ($275 million) it will put pressure on Cambridge to get their asses in gear.

The twist in Telus Sky is becoming quite apparent now.

But, you do have an unrealistic, height focused obsession as you spend a little too much focused on what's happening a world's away. 18 York is a large space for Toronto. Any bigger would restrict the anchor to only a handful of possible tenants.

There are corporations in Toronto that could easily fill a supertall if not more by consolidating all their companies under one roof but, it really doesn't serve them well to do so. Their international operations have mostly come through acquisitions and those jobs remained in those markets. The point of many of those acquisitions too was to established a client based retail footprint in the US. The massive debt they inherited through these acquisitions didn't do their Canadian operations any favours either. No, it isn't about right or wrong. I just strongly disagree with your assertions that 900,000 square feet is insignificant because it happens to be packaged in only 32 floors.

I read posts. I don't necessarily look at the author. That said, saying you don't want me to respond to your posts isn't going to stop me.

Looks like they have completed framing for one level of Skylobby/Bucket at the top of the existing tower. - could be a while still before the new tower addition rises.

Getting more exciting as the curve grows!!! At first I was sad to see the white go but the dark cladding has really grown on me. Between this and the Bow we will have two of the most interesting towers in the country!

Edit: I'm curious to see how the balconies turn out. Hopefully the railings and glass are as transparent and minimal as possible.

It's still too early to judge the dark cladding over the white. As of right now its just trim around the subway tiled windows. My concerns with the cladding are with the shorter residential floors and the full height dark panels. It may counterbalance the airy design by making it feel top heavy and ominous.

I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I like the cladding on the Telus sky. Looks really sharp to me.. will be interesting to see the twist and what it'll look like at that stage of the build. Love this tower.

Telus Sky is looking very cool so far! I love the way they are using the cladding with the glass. Should end up looking awesome.

Ten York is looking better than I expected. Which is to say, still quite mediocre.
