not like Winnipeg is overflowing with developers willing to build high rise towers to begin with. Gotta commend them for trying.
I will be the first to agree. I am not criticizing Sandhu.

Nobody is blaming him for trying, but part of his habits do not seem to indicate "lessons learned".

That said, he was bold. Winnipeg needs more boldness from its more seasoned professionals.

I cannot say his warehouse conversions look the best if only because of the windows.

Yeah, while it's nice they have the will to convert the warehouses, they look truly awful. THAT is where you need beautification standards in The Exchange. And it sucks, because at both, it's JUST the windows that make it look bad. Could it really have derailed the projects putting in full-sized windows, and not pre-fab ones?

Hopefully in the not too distant future we see proper windows put in. I would have to say that would be based on the buildings becoming condos.

Wish they would have filled in the gaps on top of 300 Assiniboine where the mechanical is.

I love this building. I love the blue glass they chose. Very west coast looking. Way nicer then most high rises in this city.

Way nicer than all* high rises in this city.

Seriously, I don't think anything can touch it. I have a feeling that even if pre-sales weren't great, once it's nearing completion and done, it'll sell quickly. Who wouldn't want to live in the nicest tower in the city.

I don't like the floor plans of D-condo. The bathrooms are too small.

Just curious...how much room do you need to shit? Are we talking splayed spread-eagle across the rim or hovering above it using a system of ropes and pulleys?
