The big problem with Queens (and why I couldn't live there) is that is has no parks, just a bunch of useless cemeteries. Maybe NYC should also do what Paris did - build catacombs, re-inter the remains in them and turn the cemeteries into actual parks.

The Sunnyside Yards will be covered and developed. It's mostly a Hudson Yards-style plan, though, so the emphasis will be on commerical-residential development, not parkland.

Hmm. Well at some point they need to think about emptying the cemeteries. It's ridiculous how little parkland there is in Queens and Brooklyn.
