Good call - I've had this bookmarked for a while - I take a look every now and then.

Here is link for Fraser Health Auth list (south of Fraser River)

http://www.healthspace.ca/Clients/FH...f/Env-Frameset

Edit - it wont directly link - have to click on "Food" and the "Closure Orders"

How easy is it to sabotage a restaurant by deliberately setting rats or roaches loose in it?

It's something that I wouldn't put past them in the tough, competitive, cutthroat game of the restaurant business.

Hmm, I would be pretty sure that more than one visit is required before the place is actually shutdown. Probably a notice, then a warning, then a total shutdown. Although it does remind me of one Chinese restaurant in Calgary whose domain was hijacked, and a permanent page put up advising that it has been shutdown for various health reasons (it has not!), maybe the Chinese food business really is rough! Watch your back

I've eaten regularly at at least one of the restaurants shut down for "pest infestation"... (running for the washroom)...

Haven't been to any of them recently, but I have been to Grandview, Kamei Royale and Champion Pizza in the past.

i worked at a place on kingsway once and it had roaches in the kitchen - the regular staff said they always had them
