this one seems to be moving quickly these days - here looking south across Howard from FS IV. the characteristic notch in the corner is noticeable now:

good stuff

given its prime location, not sure why they settled on just 10 stories; that seems like the opportune location for something like 40...though startups may be averse to high rise offices

I like this photo a lot, showing the potential of a small, old-style building next to a new, glassy structure. Kind of like the Salt House building next to 555 Mission St.

I agree, and is why I like Foundry II so much, because it incorporates an old brick building - love how the whole thing works as a unit with the added 'texture'. anyway, here is the same shot, from today:

and a couple angles we haven't seen in a while... here looking north down First:

and west along Howard:

in a view soon to be blocked by spring leaves, main part of the building is up, now just the glassy roof section to go:

looking at the east side of the building, the surface panels are going up. from the renderings, I had thought FS III was going to be similar in yellow color to FS I, but it looks like this one will be much paler, basically a cream color. we'll have to wait and see, but I think it will look good with the green glass.

Looking good timbad, thanks for posting! It's gratifying that the entire Foundry Square project will finally be finished; it's been a long time since the first building (north across Howard) was constructed.

Why does this building look so much cheaper than the others?

Probably because the fanciest parts of the other buildings - the full-wall sheets of glass - haven't gone in on this building yet.

I disagree- the other buildings have panels of what looks to be marble or shale. This one looks like clapboard.

I think it looks cheaper because of the color of the stone that they chose - it looks like precast.
